I am extremely devastated regarding the receptionist's behaviour. She continuously misbehaves with each student—24 hours with the phone. I asked about the otoscope and ophthalmoscope. She answered standing in front of the table. Later, I asked for the tablet password. I requested Dr Samson you are a brilliant teacher but you please do not hire this type of receptionist to ruin your reputation. One bad person is sufficient to make the academic reputation zero. Please ask every student about her behaviour and you will find the answer. She is from Phillipino or Chinese. I don't know the name I will give you more evidence and feedback from other students. We do not come to the academy to receive misbehaving from staff. Please ask all students about your staff behaviour.

Attended the hybrid course. Took the 14 days of classes online. It was ok in the beginning because I got an idea about plab 2. But however noticed that just reading from all days. Honestly I didn't attend atll 14 days.

Attended Samson for mock exam. Mock exam was good . It gives the real feel of exam . They have 2 mocks and usually date will be given near to exam.

But however their female receptionist that was present on the day attended the mock was very very rude. Arrived there before 8.30 am. She kept the door open. When I and another candidate entered. She just shouted at us. And slammed the door on our face .
This is really off behavior. And when asked her regarding the access card and mannequin to practice. All we got was rude yelling behavior .
Will definitely won't reccomend candidate to take Samson . There are many other academy where staffs are helpful and polite . Atleast worth the fee we are paying

Mock-booking is unnecessarily complicated and not at the convenience of the person doing the exam.
Teaching quality also left some question marks for me.
First class I attended in person the tutor was late and said that classes starting late rarely happens there but it happened again the next two days...
That said, their mock is quite close to the real exam in terms of predicting how prepared you are...so if you must go there, just do the mock exam.

Paid hard earned money to this institute for a hybrid class.Online classes were not good and didn't waste time to attend those offline also. There is no one responsible in this place to teach you the simman or any other stuff. They conduct 2 mock exams . In majority of mock exam stations the simulator who is also the examiner do not know what they are doing, majority were not doctors . I will not recommend this to any of my friends.

Unnecessarily complicated process to booking mocks. Inconsistent with their timing. Last minute changes are made and mail is sent a night before mocks. Customer service terrible. No surprise why they’re losing users in hordes.

Large space, course is inperson and online. Which is taught together. If you pay for online its cheaper. The course is 15days and classes start at 9.30 to 7pm. They make you write a lot. Since they dont give out all their notes!

I’m very happy I chose Samson Clinical Courses for PLAB 2. I couldn’t attend their classes because I was working full time back in my home country, but their mocks were excellent. The mocks simulated the real exam effectively (each station is 6 minutes though). The mocks were also very predictive in my case: I passed 11 stations in both Samson mocks, and I passed 10 stations in the real exam. One of my friends passed 13 stations in a Samson mock and 13 stations in the real deal as well. Still, DO NOT panic if you fail a mock. Just identify your deficits and do your best in your real exam.

They also allow you to retake the course as many times as you want in a single year if you fail PLAB 2.

There’s a lot of confusion over which academy to take. Truthfully, I’d say that although your academy may certainly play a role, and some academies may indeed be better than others, your own preparation matters the most. You cannot rely solely on an academy to prepare you for PLAB 2; you must prepare for it on your own. Practise, practise, and practise; you will succeed In Shaa Allah. I definitely recommend Samson Academy to anyone preparing for PLAB 2.

Paid 600 pounds not sure for what. Mannikins are in pathetic state. No teachers available at the academy. Worst thing, taken money for 3 mocks, and then cancelling one mock. They took a decision, to give only two mocks. And don't have anywhere to talk about it. Not bothered about the students at all. Just want to scam us of our money.
