My daughters attended two dance schools before transferring to Sara Packham’s. We have never looked back. For the last 6 years they have enjoyed being part of this wonderful school and studied a combination of ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre and drama. The teachers are nurturing, dedicated and completely committed to allowing every child to achieve their full-potential. Over the years my daughters have had some amazing opportunities including performing in school productions and showcases as well as competitions and performances at Northern Ballet. They have also danced in Bradford Alhambra Pantomime as part of the sunbeam troop which was a fabulous experience that will stay with them forever. One of my daughters has now gone on to full-time vocational ballet training and my younger daughter loves dancing but does not wish to become a professional dancer. In both instances this school has supported their aspirations. Sara has literally gone above and beyond her role to prepare my daughter for auditions. On some occasions this has quite literally involved travelling across the country with us to coach her on the day. I can 💯 percent recommend this dance school for anyone who wishes to see their children grow in confidence, make new friends and become creatively empowered.

My daughter began dancing at Sara’s from the age of eight and hasn’t looked back since. Taking exams in Ballet and Tap (scoring top grades), performing on the Alhambra Stage as a sunbeam two years in a row, dancing/singing in competitions and countless productions along the way.

All dance teachers within the school are incredibly approachable and encouraging. I couldn’t recommend this dance school highly enough (I’ve even taken a few of the adult lessons myself). Your child will make friends for life and become part of the Sara Packham Theatre School family.

My daughter attends ballet and tap lessons and has progressed so much during her time there. The teachers take time to get to know each child to bring out the best in them. It's amazing to see their confidence grow! The school also runs lessons in jazz, musical theatre and drama and I would highly recommend it to any parent wanting the best for their children.

All three of my children attend the school for a variety of lessons including ballet, tap, jazz, enhancement and drama. They have all learnt so much (including via Zoom which must have been a challenge!) and have all also grown in confidence, especially after their recent stage performance. It’s the perfect place to learn dance, make new friends and express themselves in a creative way.
Sara and all the dance teachers are all wonderful; patient and encouraging but also extremely talented with an impeccable attention to detail! I wouldn’t send my children for dance lessons anywhere else. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

This theatre school is a lovely family feel. I’ve seen Miss Sara reach over many years. Sara is creative, imaginative and sprinkles magic. The children I’ve seen attend have always enjoyed the classes. My youngest now attends ballet and tap with Miss Lynn and looks forward to it every Saturday. Making friendships also comes with the excellent dance tutition children and adults receive. Xx

All my daughters have attended Sara Packham’s theatre school and my youngest still does , not only do I recommend this dance school for it’s friendly supportive atmosphere but also the professional level of teaching . My older adult daughters who attended from the age of 3 have now progressed on to professional dance careers , and were supported though vocational dance senior school one at Royal Ballet school and the other at The Hammond by the teachers at Sara s school , the back bone to a healthy career in dance is the foundations and we certainly got that . We made friends for life and always felt it was a dance theatre family rather than a school .

My experience of the Sara Packham Theatre School is only that of total praise.
My daughter started at the age of 4 after saying that she'd like to start ballet!! I didnt know where to start, but after looking into it this school came highly recommended to me.
9 years later it hasn't disappointed either of us.
My 2 daughters now attend & throughly enjoy Ballet & Tap, which also includes Graded Exam work if they wish, resulting in fantastic results from dedicated students & teachers alike. Alongside ballet & tap they also participate in Jazz, Musical theatre & drama classes. Aswel as occasional guest teacher classes.
Their classes are full of fun aswel as discipline & have led to lots of fantastic opportunities from their own Theatre School Performances on stage, festival competitions & not forgetting the unique opportunity to work along side professionals in the Alhambra Pantomime as a Sunbeam.
It's also opened up other avenues to explore like successful auditions to perform on stage with the English Youth Ballet & recently gaining a place on The Scholars programme at Renaissance Arts.
None of this could have been achieved without the dedication of Miss Sara & Miss Lynn (aswel as their other teachers) who go above & beyond teaching aswel as nurturing their students who are all seen as individuals with individual needs / dreams.
This school isn't just a school as we call it - It's like a family.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school to anyone.

We really cannot recommend enough. My daughter started when she was small, and the classes are the perfect mix of fun and strict that makes it enjoyable and gives her a sense of achievement. A lovely environment and plenty of support from Sara, Lynn and lots of other parents and older students. Very encouraging both for kids and adults!
My girls smile says it all!
