I first started at Spotlight 15 years ago, at the age of 9. Over this period of time, the teaching and support from the teachers at spotlight have helped me grow into the person I am today. At the age of 16, I started training at a professional dance college, and this was all thanks to the devotion of Gill and Amy. I now frequently return to join in with classes, and even teach my own workshops. My time at Spotlight was the best part of my child and early adulthood. I made friendships and connections that will stay with me forever. It is a home for so many people, with the most amazing pupils, parents and teachers. I would recommend this school to everyone, come and join the Spotlight family!!!

Absolutely fantastic dancing school, training to high standards of dance. I attending for 14 years before going on to professional dance training, would highly recommend. Gill is great with all her pupils giving them the best opportunities and has a great reputation for pupil success in the future.

Absolutely amazing dance school, they really have worked so hard with my daughter making her feel comfortable and really brought her confidence on leaps and bounds. It's such an fantastic dance family to be apart of and all the dance teachers are just brilliant. I couldn't wish for a better place for my daughter to attend.

I have danced with Spotlight officially since I was around 4 years old, up until I was 17 and have so many fond memories basically growing up with this dance school. Gill and Amy's teaching over the years has continued to be so valuable in allowing me to compete nationally at a University standard and I think it is a testament to the dance school that so many ex-pupils continue to keep in touch and frequently return. I have been able to dance in some fantastic places thanks to Spotlight, including the Alhambra Theatre and Sadler's Wells Theatre in London. It has always been a friendly and happy environment and I am grateful for all of the opportunities Spotlight gave me during my time there.

Cannot rate spotlight highly enough. Such a great level of talent and tuition.

The atmosphere is very friendly and the students have a really strong friendship and respect for one another like family.

I don't live local to this Dance School but when my daughter said she wanted to dance I decided Spotlight was the school for us due to knowing if from when I was young, local and had friends that went. My daughter has developed so much since starting involved in a variety of weekly classes, annual shows at a theatre, competitions and exams. The pupils are like family and all support each other to achieve their best. Thank you also to the amazing teachers who I must add continued to run dance sessions remotely via zoom which enabled our children to develop and do what they love even in the unknown times. Forever grateful x
