Have tried to access doctors for an appointment only to be seen by someone else, and not getting to the bottom of my problem’s.
What do the doctors actually do, because the reception area is almost always empty.
Them that are waiting usually do not see a doctor.

Awful people and place. Discharged as unable to make my appointment due to a member of my family being unwell and recently passed away. No consideration or compassion given the circumstances. Told I will need to contact the GP and go back on the waiting list!!!

Today I needed a urine sample check
I was late
Due to trying pharmacy outside building first
Nurse Theresa gladly helped with this matter
She did my urine test
And this helped me tremendously
I suffer from anxiety
And find appointments difficult
This Nurse is excellent
Kind and caring

I used to think I was with the best practice but I don't anymore..the receptionists seem to think they're some kind of demi gods, it's easier to break into the tower of London than to get to see a doctor nowadays, I'm fully aware of the pressure they're under we all are! but they just don't give a inch. My son couldn't get a sample bottle the other day at 7.50am as it wasn't 8am, he has a job to go to and the receptionist who was behind the shutter made him wait, later he went to drop it off and shutters down again for staff training, receptionist were there at back of shutters and wouldn't take it.. REALLY! ...I work in Wakefield and find it difficult to get in for a repeat prescription which I'm on for ever, but will they let me phone it in NO! I mean really..if they put a questionnaire out now for customer service they'd get zero not just off me but off everyone I speak to..since covid happened it seems to have opened the flood gates for rude unhelpful people, what happened to being helpful, compassionate, having empathy and caring, its what your paid for.

Dr Maters is a great straightforward doctor and I find listens with compassion that I find some GPs lack. The centre itself is good however parking is a nightmare
