After completing the 10-week Movement Revolution course with Niamh I can honestly say I feel like I am now much more aware of my body and mobility. Niamh is not only very informative and guided us through the programme with ease (even when some movements felt tricky!), she was also incredibly warm and friendly - creating a great environment for all of us participating. I came away feeling more confident about how to continue developing my core strength post-pregnancy. I would highly recommend this course or any of Niamh's training options - and will also be looking out for further opportunities to work with her myself!

This course was different to anything I had done before and perfect to help me recover after the birth of my 6 month old. In other courses I have found that quite common exercises such as lunges were painful for me, and despite my best efforts I didn’t seem to be doing them right anyway! Niamh’s course teaches you to use your body in a very focused and functional way, always engaging the core and pelvic floor, which is just what I needed 🙂

I just finished a group SOMA course and it was fantastic. Unlike any exercise class I've done before and I loved it. Niamh was so welcoming, really supportive and got the balance of managing the group whilst giving personal feedback. Access to the app meant I could complete sessions at home and really valued going each week to pick up more tips and learn more about my body. It was a great group of women and I would highly recommend.

I absolutely loved the ten week course, it was exactly what I was looking for and it far exceeded my expectations. Niamh is a wonderful instructor and delivers information in an easy to understand format. You'll feel comfortable in her company straight away.The breathing element had an unexpected bonus, it really helped to clear your mind and just focus on that moment. I thoroughly recommend this course.

I contacted Niamh at the end of 2022 to get help with regaining fitness after pregnancy and lockdown! I’d run a few marathons before kids and after my first. Being a bit older having a second kid and lockdown led to a loss of strength and lots of aches and pains. I had lost connection to my core, had really bad sciatica (long car journeys were painful) and recurring knee pain. Whenever ran races but I felt broken afterwards.

I worked with Niamh over a year, firstly focusing on fitness for a half marathon and then building up to the London Marathon 2024, which I’ve just completed in my target time and pain free!

The training was specific to my challenges. The sets were tough but achievable and the results were quick.. I regained core strength, the knee pain subsided and a problem bunion even moved itself back in line which was mild blowing! I don’t get any sciatic pain anymore and I’m a week out from the marathon I’m ready to run my next race! That wouldn’t have been possible a year ago.

Niamh was a joy to work with - supportive, encouraging and very responsive. She zones in on the issue and worked with me to find the right solutions. I would not have got my goal without Niamh!

Niamh has really helped me with strengthening & pain relief postpartum. Following a programme on the Train Heroic app gives me the routine I need to make time for my exercises & the videos are really helpful. During 1-1 sessions, Niamh takes the time to figure out the root cause of areas of pain, tackling issues that have been ongoing for years. She is great to work with & always very encouraging, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I highly recommend SOMA. Niamh is so knowledgeable and professional but is also such an excellent teacher. She taught me how to regain strength and function after both of my children. She was also amazing at supporting me to minimise pain and discomfort when I had pelvic girdle pain during my first pregnancy. Niamh guided me step by step through each stage and the videos were detailed and easy to follow. I feel ready to safely progress to other areas of fitness now that I’ve regained my core strength. I wish more postpartum trainers would take this approach - slow and steady wins the race.

I have had the privilege of working with Niamh on my personal physical strength for my pelvic floor and abdominals (diastasis recti) for almost a year, and it has been transformative. As a dance professional who campaigns for better information, support and opportunities for Mums who have body-based careers, Niamh’s skill set is rare and highly sought. Not only has she excellent knowledge as a pre and postnatal exercise specialist, her understanding of the dance world and busy working Mum’s lives means that her approach and guidance is expert.

Niamh and I have had sessions over video conferencing which is brilliant as she can show me replays of some of the movements so I can see where my body is moving differently. This use of technology is fantastic for busy working Mums as I feel finally able to fit it in. This is enhanced by our main method of interaction via the TrainHeroic app. This means that I can work on exercises bespoke to me at home or in the gym, knowing that I’m getting exactly what my body needs, rather than generic support.
