I arranged my Husbands surprise birthday party at SID.
Debbie the events manager was brilliant, giving me the room prices, allowing me to see the room before booking and also arraing the bar staff.
The party was a total success enjoyed by everyone that came.

A brilliant and friendly place to discover a sport. Young or not quite so young you are assured of a warm welcome.
I'd recommend Sport in Desford to anyone of any age. Great Tennis and Bowls facilities, and almost any kind of keep fit sessions. Drop in and pick up a leaflet today it's a fun place.

Good tennis courts, passable squash one, a well-enough equipped gym. A comfortable 'local' leisure centre. Not really comparable to the big corporate chains...but then it's not as expensive!

Great facility for the community, all run on a volunteer basis as it is a charity. Lots of different activities such as dancing, tennis, running and cubs take place there.
