Went into try and exchange a product that was in the warranty period, the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, asked to speak to the manager who was equally rude and unhelpful. I have been going to Argos for years and this was truly a shocking experience. I hope these staff members do not reflect on Argos as a company.

I think the guy that served me was called Kristien. He was really helpful as I had to use a lifestyle voucher which you had to create an account for . Thank you so much for your patience today. 🙂

2 issues here. Management have a bad attitude and clearly don't do stock take in a timely manner.
Aswell as having no customer care skills.
All it takes is a smile and a little bit of small talk.
Argos needs to offer alternatives when said products aren't Actually available on collection and you've already paid.
Absolutely will not be bothering again with argos for this reason.

Secondly, a little while back I arrived at 8.55am to collect a parcel and was very pushed for time with 2 toddlers.
The 2 girls behind the desk clearly didn't like that I asked them to hurry as I'd be late.
So, made sure they didn't open on time at 9am or even offer to take my code for already paid for item and have it ready or just give me the product.( in the tardis of a stock room) and I'd only ordered the night before so couldn't have been far. Instead took huge offence, disappeared and then snarled and laughed as I walked away very disgruntled with 2 tiny children running wild and very late as they purposely opened late.
Absolutely disgusted with this manager.
Hackling hag springs to mind here.

Bought Sonos speaker and didn’t like the sound so went back to return. The lady in there took it out to inspect it, witch is totally understandable. After when she took the speaker out off protective bag started to complain about finger prints on the speaker, clearly hers finger prints and refused return. Absolutely rubbish customer service

Reggie was super helpful to me when I’d lost all the info for some placemats I’d reserved. They were the last set. He interrogated the system and tracked them down with patience and good-humour. I was truly grateful for such a positive experience.

Ordered a microwave online and collected, discovered that product was not fit for purpose (in accordance of my 14 day distance purchase consumer rights) so returned to store in its original box opened box with packaging intact and unused. Assistant unpacked product handling it as she did and informed me that the product was not in saleable condition as it had finger prints visible on its surface the majority made by its unpacking. I asked to see manager who informed me that I could get a refund if I cleaned the product, I informed the manager that the majority of prints were from the assistant carrying out her inspection, which she accepted but insisted that I cleaned the door, on doing so refund was granted.
This makes me think Argos are selling on returned items as new and not informing the consumer they are repackaged goods.
