Damar is a terrible training provider and I would not take an apprenticeship with this company again. They have very bad communication with apprentices, the content of the course was not very helpful or informative, and when it came down the the assessment period it was found that the studies they had asked us to do were ultimately pointless. They did not prepare us at all for what the assessments entailed, and it was overall a very poor, very stressful and very pointless experience.

I am currently on apprenticeship with Damar Training - Business Administration. My trainer from Damar is Debbie and she has been amazing, she has managed to help me in every way possible to ensure my qualification has ran smoothly. After having problems with my apprenticeship (through no fault of Damar training) I have had all the support and help from them to help achieve the best from the qualification. Could not fault them for all they have done for me.

After completing college and not wanting to go to University, I wasn't really sure what my next step in life would be. Thanks to Damar Training, I have not only managed to gain an additional qualification, I have managed to secure myself a new job in a far better environment than I could have ever pictured myself in.

With the help of my assessor, Andi Sheppard-Eccles, I was able to complete my apprenticeship earlier that what was expected. Andi was very supportive and always helped deal with any issues and problems which cropped up along the way. For a period of my apprenticeship, I felt like I had fallen too far behind and would never be able to catch up with my work load. Andi was superb in keeping my motivation at a high level, by discussing methods of time-management and setting clear goals, to help me complete my apprenticeship.

When Andi was unavailable, I was always able to pick up the phone or send an email to Damar Training, and I always received a positive, supportive response. I can't thank Andi and the staff at Damar enough for getting me to where I am today.

I would definitely recommend an apprenticeship to anybody who isn't totally sure of what they want to do in regards to work, College or University, and there isn't anybody better to help guide and support you through than Damar Training!

Damar Training is great! my Trainer Debbie is extremely supportive and helpful. I have been guided and supported all the way through my first year. Damar are very organised and have structured plans in place that reduce stress because they are worked around your job. The trainers are extremely understanding and flexible! I wouldn't want to do my apprenticeship with anybody else! I cannot wait for next year! I Highly recommend damar as a learning provider.

Very good apprenticeship company, Katie Davies has done herself and the company proud. She has got me as a student through my work so quickly but effectively. When I decided to drop out of college after just one year, I didn't really have a clue what I wanted to do. I came across Damar Training after looking for jobs and decided to try an apprenticeship, I submitted my details and found the process really easy. Within days I was contacted by the company who told me of the different opportunities I would be offered. I decided to take up the offer from Damar or a business administration apprenticeship as they took a lot of type to help me build my profile and was very convincing. Within a week they found me an apprenticeship which was round the corner from me with a fantastic company. I started my apprenticeship and was monitored and guided by the fantastic Debbie Barker, straight from the start I was given a lot of support and I knew exactly what I needed to do! I sat my exams, did the coursework necessary but had 1 exam left to do, I came into difficulties at home and give up on the idea of completing this apprenticeship (90%) of the way there, I automatically thought that Damar wouldn't be bothered of this... I was wrong. Debbie and Damar showed great support in getting me over the line and never give up on me, I would recommend Damar to anyone that's unsure of what there next steps are, they are simply superb!

Had a terrible day (personal circumstances) while I had a meeting, tried my hardest to get in contact, was told I was deregistered without warning within 10 minutes of them being unable to reach me as my phone had died. Very friendly up until you don't do as they plan for you to and get back to them within minutes, even under circumstances you cannot control as they have no sympathy; if you're not up to their standards, they'll cut you off and ignore you from then on. There are more understanding apprenticeship finders out there, and thankfully I've found a place at a company through another training provider. Very poor experience.

My assessor Andi Sheppard-Eccles has been amazing! He was very helpful throughout my apprenticeship, offering advice and guidance when I needed it. I managed to complete my qualification earlier than expected so I am very pleased and I managed to secure a job within the company! Thanks Andi!
