I joined the Hackspace because I wanted to learn how to use the equipment they had, but honestly, it's so much more than just a place to do projects and work. Everyone I've met here has been friendly, helpful, and generous with their time and knowledge. That, plus the access to kit I'd never be able to afford myself, makes the Β£20 a month price tag amazing value for money.

Hackspace is an incredible resource. The space is on the ground floor of an old mill and has a whole array of equipment - woodworking, metalworking, 3D printing, electronics, visual arts (with a big laser cutter), sewing and loads more. The community is great and really friendly and supportive. I’ve only been a member for about 6 months, but have already made friends. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

this place does not have friendly welcoming people. they are patronising and rude who also try to make you feel stupid if you are new to woodwork. if you are wanting to learn about woodwork and building... this is not the place as they are unhelpful. there are also extremly poor toilet facilities.

Great space. Every time I go I see something new has changed to make the space better. Well organised by the members, fixed my kitchen windows in the well equipped woodwork shop.
