Would rate it 0 stars if possible, one of my friend’s had his therapist send an email to the school to try and help my friend because he was being bullied and the school basically told my friends therapist to leave it to the school and they will decide whats best, again from a PRIVATE THERAPIST. They have still failed to deal with the situation. He has been bullied the entire time he’s been at this school and has reported it several times but the school continue to do nothing, at least they show no signs of bipolar.

Best school I have ever attended best teachers best students honest reaction they stand against bullies not even if they are in school but outside it’s just this college DCC with which I can help my confidence to win love the teachers and love the students if some one said bad then they are blind and deaf btw it’s the best school you can go in.

What a weird School. My daughter lost her pen, so went to find another pen, was gone too long... so she had a detention, she is only 11 so can't walk 3 miles home... especially over that Manchester Rd.
I told the School that she wasn't allowed to attend, her reports are A1 and she had detention over taking too long to find a pen?
She didn't attend today and now she is suspended tomorrow... so that is day in the sunshine for my daughter - how is that a punishment.
This School has so many issues and they are like robots not able to distinguish between what determines a detention and what doesn't, she now has 1023 pens in her bag. 🙂
Feel so sad I have sent her to the poorest School in Manchester where the staff are arrogant and rude and can't think for themselves. Its like an Army camp!!!!!
A day in the sunshine sat in the garden with me tomorrow... some punishment that is....couldn't run a bath.
The SLT are a total disgrace and just bullies in yellow coats, allegedly the children must wear tights to stop the Teachers looking up the kids skirts - They speak down to parents and have a huge staff turnover by the looks of it.

The school are implementing new rules on the year 7 kids. For example silent reading at lunchtime! What happened to having fun with friends. Blowing off Steam. My son's mental health is suffering and he hates being there. It's awful to see. A poor effort by DCC.

Absolutely shocking teachers laughing at my work when I’m trying to do my work,I hope this school gets shut down my mental health has gone well down hill since I’ve been here,the teachers are bullies and the students run that school. all the bad students get special treatment and the kids run that school.it is terrible and they don’t care about the students needs or anything.putting all the kids in supervision or suspending pupils for the very littlest things… TERRIBLE DISGUSTING SCHOOL DONT COME TO THIS SCHOOL

The school is currently working with NET to improve the Ofsted grading they recently reviewed, however the changes they have implemented have changed to school so much that it is no longer the school I applied for, for my son. An example of this is that the children have to spend there lunch time either sat in silence or reading and if found talking to friends are sent to supervision.( fyi I am not a bitter parent who's child is always in trouble and naughty I am a parent who feels a child needs time to burn off energy/ socialise and have a moment of freedom ready for the afternoon and I'm usually supportive of most changes) after emailing school and NET my response from the deputy head is that children will not be shouted at during lunch as long as sat in silence or reading. I have emails to support this word for word
The schools communication is terrible! Absolutely none unless you chase it yourself however they feel that our 11yr old should be mature enough to communicate on the schools behalf!
The children have mostly substitute teachers as they are currently short staffed due to staff leaving.
They throw detentions and punishments for the smallest things which are way to unreasonable. I've spoken to few teachers and they have said the rules now inplace a extremely strict and must be adhered to otherwise detentions or isolation.
I am so disappointed in my choice of school for my son and I would just suggest to potential parents go and speak to the "real" students and ask them there views.
